My Pilea peperomioides care ⬇️ First of all, this plant is 8 years old! I grew it from a small plant in a 2” pot. It takes TIME to get a plant this large. I’ve potted up a few times since then 🤪 but I don’t do it often, and honestly the last size up I went too big and it lost quite a few leaves. The curled leaves don’t bother me, it’s just a fact of life for this plant in my growing conditions. I’ve tried everything I can think of to stop it from happening over the years but it just does 🤷🏼‍♀

Pilea leaf propagation - yes, you can propagate a pilea plant out of a single leaf :) ➡️You need a healthy leaf. I see a lot of people taking leaves that fell off of their plants. In a lot of cases, there is something wrong with them, otherwise, they wouldn't have fallen off. ➡️Even if a healthy leaf was physically knocked off, you need a tiny piece of the trunk with the petiole. Otherwise, the leaf will only grow roots and not new leaves. ➡️Put the leaf in water, in bright indirect light. A lot
