The Giant Angora rabbits always appreciate a mid summer shearing. A rabbit as large as Daphne will produce around 8oz of fiber in a single shearing, and Angora is 7 times warmer than sheep’s wool. Because of this Angoras are quite heat sensitive and need to be monitored closely when kept outdoors.
